Not for families! We are visiting Chattanooga for the weekend with our 10 and 7 year old children. We came here to enjoy many of the fun activities Chattanooga has to offer. I buy Aretha Frankenstein pancake mix at our Publix back in Birmingham and thought it would be fun and delicious to try the actual restaurant while we are here. Boy was I wrong! I thought a delicious and filling breakfast would be a great start to our activity full day. Instead we wasted half of our day at this place. 1- one of our favorites things about Chattanooga is that we can bike so many places. We biked over the pedestrian bridge then walked the rest of the way. It's too far from downtown and wastes tons of time by doing this. 2- when we got there it took 10 minutes for them to come outside and put our name on the list. 3- we waited 45 minutes for a table. 4- once at the table it took 20 minutes for someone to take our order. 5- it took 25 minutes for our food to come. With all of the fun stuff your family could be doing in Chattanooga 2 1/2 hours is too much time to waste just on breakfast. The breakfast was good, but nothing special. Our pancakes were burned. You just aren't missing out by going anywhere else for breakfast. I also have to include that the poor table next to us tried to order pancakes and were told the were out of mix and had sent someone to the store to by more ingredients. Seriously?!?! They sell their own pancake mix and are known for pancakes... How could they be out?!?! We were hoping to send our burned pancakes back but after learning they were out of mix we opted to just eat the burned ones. On a side note, this place is so inafeciantly run that it is a bit frustrating just watching what is going on. We will never go back. Don't waste your precious and fun time with your family here.

Owner has been offered dozens of chances to franchise, turned them down. Good for him. Good for us.

This is the single greatest meal I have ever eaten. I had the Elephants Gerald which is a waffle with pecans, cinnamon and vanilla ice cream of all things. If I lived closer I would inevitably either go broke or become exceedingly overweight. Will be making trips just for this restaurant.

We got there at 11 am on Saturday had a party of 2. We were told it'd be 35 minute wait. At 12:40 we were taken to our table and got our food an hour later. The food was super yummy just not worth a two and a half hour wait.
